This gallery contains images from my first visit to AUstin, TX in nearly a decade. The purpose of the trip was to visit my girlfriend-to-be, and of course i brought my camera along for the memories. the first few days were spent in downtown where I was most enchanted by the wonderfully symmetrical, historical Texas State Capital Building. my girlfriend showed me around the outskirts of the city; together we went to overlook the Austin 360 bridge (Percy V. Pennybacker Jr. Bridge) and stopped for a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline over Zilker Metropolitan Park.
IN 2024 I was tasked with performing a pipeline condition assessment for the County of Maui in the island of Maui, Hawaii. I took advantage of the work trip and booked a few extra nights to explore, accompanied by My girlfriend who flew in to join me for the weekend. We traveled the western coast, visited a lavender field, and took a scenic drive to a 10,000-ft summit above the craters of a dormant volcano at Haleakalā National Park.
Photos from this collection are from A trip to Spain in late 2024. It was my first trip to Europe as well as the first international venture with my sweetheart who recommended the destination. We stayed in the Capital City, Madrid, a Southern Coastal City, Malaga, and a small Village in Cordoba.
Diversifying our destinations within Spain gave us a well rounded experience with a taste of the vibrant culture and hustle in Madrid, the natural beauty and scenery of Picasso’s hometown of Malaga, and the gorgeous yet humble medley of mixed architecture and rich history in Cordoba.
